MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina – The Myrtle Beach police arrested a fight superstar Saturday morning at a downtown hotel, Myrtle Beach Sun News reported.

Jeffrey Hardy, 41, has been charged with public drunkenness by the Myrtle Beach police.

Officers received a call at 11:30 am and responded to a report about a drunk, cap man. Said Thomas Vest.

Hardy was arrested without incident and booked for the Myrtle Beach Prison, Vest said.

Public intoxication can result in a $ 500 fine and a 30-day prison term.

Hardy is featured at the Smackdown TV show. He is a former WWE Champion known for the team fight with his brother, Matt Hardy.
