WWE takes extra steps to keep tonight’s Raw script a secret

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw should be a big show as it will mark the second night of this year’s draft after it launched last week on Friday night SmackDown.

Much like the way WWE handled SmackDown, WWE is extremely secretive about the script on Raw, according to PWinsider.com. It has been said that many people in the business who “are generally aware of the show’s initial plans are completely in the dark.”

On a related note about WWE keeping people in the dark, during Saturday’s Talking Smack episode, WWE announced additional draft picks. The report said several of these wrestlers had learned the movements through social media. A source in WWE defended the company for failing to warn wrestlers in advance, noting that draft moves would only take effect for several weeks. Thus, this was not a situation where talents had to change their travel schedule in the short term.

The roster changes will be implemented during the episode of SmackDown on October 22, the night following the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event.
