WWE announced this morning (July 22) that it has partnered with Iconic Events to broadcast Slam summer live in movie theaters across the United States.
Pricing information doesn’t appear to be available yet, at least from the theater closest to me that Iconic lists as one of the many venues hosting a screening. Theaters in 33 states are on their current list.
AEW has done something similar with its last two PPV events, Revolution and Double or nothing.

WWE® (NYSE: WWE) and Iconic Events Releasing today announced a new partnership that brings Slam summer, WWE’s biggest event of 2021, hits theaters nationwide for the first time. The event will be broadcast live on Saturday, August 21 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and will be one of the first sporting events to be held at full capacity at Allegiant Stadium, and the first time it will be held at a venue in the NFL.
