If you continue to play games on your Xbox 360, Microsoft has released a new system update for the console to fix some minor bugs. Although the Redmond giant stopped making the Xbox 360 in 2016, Microsoft still supports the console, which still has a base of healthy players almost 14 years after its initial launch.

The Xbox 360 system update was released in May 2018, and the release notes for today's update contain the same item "Minor bug fixes and enhancements." We do not have more details, but your console must install this system update automatically if it is connected to the Internet.

After Microsoft announced that it will no longer add new Xbox 360 titles to Xbox One's upward compatibility list, interest in Xbox 360 may soon be boosted. Indeed, many gems have still not been made available on the Xbox One, including classics such as Max Payne 3 or Mortal Kombat 9.

The Xbox 360 also remains an excellent console for playing offline games, and it still has popular multimedia applications such as Netflix. Hopefully, Microsoft will continue to support Xbox 360 and its Xbox Live service for many years.
