Xbox has confirmed that it will be holding a Gamescom feed on August 24, showing “new looks at the games to come.”
Starting at 10:00 a.m. Pacific / 1:00 p.m. EST / 6:00 p.m. UK (i.e. 3:00 a.m. AEST on August 25), the showcase appears to focus on titles already announced and arrives the day before Gamescom’s official opening with the Opening Night Live showcase on August 25. An Xbox blog post says the show will include “in-depth updates to some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday,” future releases of our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass and more. “

Xbox has also said it will be hosting a digital Xbox FanFest during Gamescom, with more details to follow on that. The company will also be holding a sale through Gamescom (August 25-27), offering up to 75% selected titles.
This is the second Xbox Showcase coming this month, after learning that an ID @ Xbox Twitch show will air tomorrow, August 10. This show is expected to include new announcements and updates on long-awaited indie titles like The Artful Escape.
