Xbox Boss teases surprises for 2021

2021 is just beginning, but it looks like this year could be big for the Xbox team. To go along with most of the releases we are already familiar with, a notable face in Microsoft’s games division recently began to say that this year will also bring a number of surprises.

On Twitter today, Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg wished fans a Happy New Year 2021 before starting to talk about what the company has in store for the year. Greenberg specifically pointed out Infinite Halo, Psychonauts 2, and the upcoming acquisition of Bethesda as one of the more notable moments Xbox has planned for 2021, but also indicated that a few “more surprises” are in store as well. “So much to look forward to!” Greenberg said to end his post.

While it’s unclear exactly what those surprises Greenberg is teasing might be, the most obvious guess involves new game reveals. In the past year alone, Xbox Game Studios has already unveiled new titles such as Fable, Declared, Perfect dark, and State of decomposition 3 among other things, but nothing indicates that the editor will slow down. In fact, Xbox chief Phil Spencer has said in the past that the Microsoft team has so many games coming up that the company won’t be able to stay silent for long without disclosing what it has in store.

Obviously, with such a busy year for Xbox in the cards, we’ll be sure to continue bringing you all the latest news related to the Microsoft gaming brand here on ComicBook.com in the months to come. If you would like to track all of our Xbox coverage specifically, you can do so by going to this page.
