According to a new rumor, Microsoft and Nintendo would team up in 2019.

As you may know, last week or so, Microsoft and Nintendo announced that major projects for 2019 included working together. However, the details of what these plans might imply have not really been addressed.

That said, according to Direct-Feed Games, which quotes several internal sources, Microsoft is preparing to launch an Xbox application on Nintendo Switch and integrate the Xbox Game Pass to the system via its new streaming technology, Project Xcloud.

In addition, Microsoft will apparently begin publishing some of its proprietary titles directly on the switch. More specifically, games that the system can run natively and that make sense to be on the platform.

Of course, all this should be taken with a grain of salt. We knew that Microsoft wanted to get the Xbox Game Pass on as many devices as possible, but it was assumed that this would be limited to phones and hardware that were not part of the console market, next to Micrsoft, namely PlayStation and Nintendo.

It is possible, however, and when we consider that there is already a certain type of precedent with the release of Microsoft Minecraft on the switch, it does not even seem too crazy.

Finally, many reputable sources claim that Microsoft and Nintendo have big plans together for this year, and that would certainly be fine.

If this is true, the fact that Microsoft is throwing more eggs into the streaming basket and services is perhaps another indication, which means that the console's manufacturing period might soon become clearer. ;finish.

Unfortunately, we can only speculate, wait and see. If what Direct-Feed Games offers is true, then it will be huge news and so probably will not be disclosed only on a gigantic stage, aka E3.

Anyway, as always, do not hesitate to leave a comment letting us know what you think. Will it happen? Would you like to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass if you could play its games on Nintendo Switch and other console platforms like PS4?
