Xbox image shows Apex Legends to feature crossover event with Mass Effect

A GameSpot player shared an image of Apex Legends online earlier today, suggesting a crossover event with Mass Effect soon to the battle royale.

The image shows the “N7” weapon charm, which is listed as a Game Pass perk on the Xbox Series X dashboard. As it is listed in this category, it likely won’t be a reward for completing a mission or purchase available in the store, but a gift for EA Play subscribers.

This image is not the first clue of a cross between the two games. In November 2020, several weapon charms with Mass Effect and Plants vs. Zombies the themes were online leak by dataminers, although the N27 is not one of them. According to the Leaked, they were to be rewards for purchasing an EA Play subscription.

EA Games is the publisher of both Mountain peak and the Mass Effect franchise, so a crossover and rewards tied to the EA Play subscription would make sense.

Cross rewards could come in Mountain peak around the release date of Mass Effect: legendary edition slated for May 14, which will remaster the franchise’s three core games.

It is not space, but there is still a lot of cosmetics for Mountain peak players at the moment. The Chaos Theory Collection event launched a few days ago and will run until March 23. It features exclusive new epic and legendary cosmetics, new heirloom for Bangalore, and new Caustic-themed areas in Kings’ Canyon.

The ranked breakdown is also nearing its end, also slated for March 23. Finally, portable gamers can retrieve the Mountain peak port to the Nintendo Switch, which launched on March 9.
