Microsoft held its latest Inside Xbox video broadcast today, which was brimming with news. In just one hour, Microsoft has made a series of large-scale announcements, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection and PC, and Halo: Reach, the next big game Xbox Game Pass, a new Xbox One controller / color, and more.
We have gathered all the important information gathered here to give you an overview of all the important information announced during the Inside Xbox briefing. Although the show contains a lot of important news, it did not confirm the rumor that the Xbox One without disk would be unknown or the alleged launch of the Xbox Game Pass for PC. It looks like it will have to wait to learn more about these topics.
That said, here's an overview of all the big news from Microsoft's Inside Xbox feed:
Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC
Confirming the rumors and previous reports, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Halo: The Master Chief collection was coming on PC. It will be launched later this year on Steam and the Microsoft Store, and the structure of the release is anything but traditional. Microsoft publishes each individual package title for download and purchase, starting with Halo: Reach. Microsoft has not yet confirmed its price, but the full package of the Xbox One is selling for $ 30, which seems so likely for PC. For more, check out these stories:
Halo: Reach Coming To Halo: The Master Chief Collection
In response to requests from fans, Microsoft announced that Bungie's Halo: Reach game in 2010 would join The Master Chief Collection at some point. It will be available on Xbox One and in the recently announced PC edition. This includes the multiplayer campaign and elements, including Forge and Theater, as well as the favorite Firefight mode for fans. On the Xbox One, the multiplayer mode (including Forge and Theater) is free, while Microsoft will charge the campaign and firefight mode – the pricing has not yet been disclosed. Xbox Game Pass members, however, will apparently have the entire package at no additional charge. The way all this will work on PC will be less clear, but campaigns, multiplayer modes and Firefight are coming soon. Take a look at the story linked below to find out everything we know so far.
A new Xbox One controller
The Phantom White Special Edition controller was announced at the Inside Xbox briefing. The $ 70 controller will go on sale in April around the world. It is described as a mix of "luxury and science fiction" no matter what it means. You can see it closely in the story linked below.
Minecraft For Xbox Game Pass
One of the biggest games on Earth, Minecraft, will make its debut in the Xbox Game Pass Library on April 4th. This is great news in itself, as it extends the reach of the already huge sandbox game even more. It also simply becomes the last family title in the catalog.
A new look at the xCloud project
One of the other great revealers of the Inside Xbox feed was a fresh look at Microsoft's ambitious streaming technology, Project xCloud. The game allows you to stream titles directly to an Internet-connected device, allowing you to play high-end games on a poorly performing device, because the bulk of the work is done in the cloud. Forza Horizon 4 ran on an Android phone connected wirelessly to an Xbox One controller. Microsoft has also confirmed that public trials for xCloud – or whatever official name Microsoft decides to give to the platform – will begin later this year.
