Xbox One owners are furious over console-brickwork issue

[ad_1]

There is a mysterious new issue with Xbox One consoles giving gamers the “black screen of death”. At first, the console throttling issue seemed to be limited to Xbox Insiders, a special enrollment program to which only a fraction of Xbox users are enrolled. From the Xbox Insiders, the Xbox mainstream is also plagued by this problem, which of course suggests that Microsoft may have a bigger problem on their hands, although nothing looks like the infamous “red ring of death.”

At the time of publication, it is not known how widespread the problem is, what is the cause of the problem, or if there is a definitive solution. Currently, a plethora of Xbox users have reported the issue on Twitter, but Microsoft has not yet fixed the problem. As you may know, this isn’t the first time the console has suffered a “black screen of death,” but it is the biggest wave of reports in some time. Like previous times, factory reset the console seems to be working, but we can’t advertise this as a troubleshooting solution.

As always, we’ll be sure to keep you updated when and if Microsoft provides any kind of comments or statements on this matter. The issue has been going on for a few days and Xbox has yet to fix the issue, but it wasn’t until today that it really started to gain traction and attention, so a [late] comment might still be on the way.
