Cyber Monday is here, with a bunch of fantastic game deals. But if you’re someone who’s tried to buy the new Xbox Series X or Series S, you might be more concerned about the upcoming Xbox restock than today’s discounts. The Xbox Series X inventory situation has been rocky since pre-orders opened in September, with subsequent replenishments, including those on launch day, sold out immediately. And while stores like GameStop and Walmart were offering another chance to buy the Xbox Series X on Black Friday, those restockings were just as chaotic. So if you’re still empty-handed here on Cyber Monday, you’re not alone.
So far, the trend seems to be for some retailers to announce Cyber Monday console restockings as soon as they happen. For example, Antonline restocked its Xbox Series X bundles today around noon ET and tweeted it as soon as they go online (they are all sold out now). Adorama had a similar Cyber Monday restock for the PS5 today. So far, we aren’t seeing Xbox restockings at major retailers, like GameStop and Best Buy, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see them – we just might not be notified in advance. .

Where to buy the Xbox Series X | S during Cyber Monday
GameStop Xbox Series X Replenishment
GameStop restocked limited quantities of Xbox Series X and S in stock on Black Friday, November 27. It’s unclear how many units on average were available per store, but GameStop has promised that a minimum of two X-Series units will be available at each location. Many hopeful Xbox Series X buyers camped outside GameStop stores Thursday night hoping to be early enough to purchase the console. There were also some expensive bundles with games and controllers on the GameStop website which also sold out immediately.
Xbox Series X Target Replenishment
Although Target’s Black Friday 2020 ad shows the Xbox Series X, the store only restocked the system on launch day. We haven’t seen any Xbox restockings on Target since then. That’s not to say Target certainly won’t, but it’s the only major retailer that hasn’t restocked at least a few times.
Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock
Best Buy has kept its Xbox restocking plans vague. The store announced that it will not have any Xbox Series X or Series S units in physical stores until 2021, but although its Black Friday ad shows the Xbox Series X, the retailer has not confirmed availability during this time. ‘event. Instead, he told GameSpot that the Xbox Series X / S will be available for purchase on BestBuy.com whenever units become available.
We’ve seen next-gen consoles appear on Best Buy’s website without much warning. The most recent of them appeared to be November 28, the day after Black Friday. In the case of the most recent replenishment, the consoles were only available for in-store pickup, and not all stores had them.
Walmart Xbox Series X Replenishment
Walmart’s Black Friday sale went live on Wednesday night, as did its highly anticipated restocking on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Both consoles sold out almost instantly, including the discless models, and we don’t know if Walmart will get even more. Sony has said the PS5 will get a restocking before the end of the year, so it’s very possible the Xbox Series X and S will follow suit. If so, Walmart will likely post a time for that restocking on the lists. Currently, they only have a general “exhausted” opinion.

If you run out of replenishments at major retailers, reseller sites like StockX have plenty of units available, but be prepared to pay more than list price.
