Xbox Series X replenishment update: check inventory on Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart and more

Trying to get an Xbox Series X? If so, you are not alone. We’ve all waited a month for Xbox inventory to appear online, and honestly, Microsoft’s rollout of the new consoles on November 10 is starting to seem a bit teasing. Microsoft’s next-generation gaming consoles – the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – sold out more or less instantly on launch day, then sold out within minutes whenever there was a drop in stock at major retailers. This is obviously due in part to insatiable consumer demand. But there’s no doubt that it also has a lot to do with resellers beating average consumers at the punch.

Over the past few weeks, Twitter has become a clearinghouse for rumors and speculation about upcoming replenishments at online retailers, as well as commercial accounts of various Xbox whales that have escaped. And then there are reports of upcoming replenishments that look promising but are probably just lagging behind.

So what should a player do? Of course, follow the news on Twitter. It’s a good source of instant updates and you might get in luck. But we also keep you up to date with what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop, and Target are planning here.

While Walmart, Antonline, and GameStop recently replenished their Xbox Series inventory and sold out within minutes, we haven’t seen a lot of other news or activity. This is more or less what we expected; Microsoft confirmed on November 16 that Xbox inventory could be tight until April 2021.

That doesn’t mean that an occasional drop in inventory won’t happen, though, so keeping an eye out for restocking is beneficial. The following is a list of the main retailers selling the Xbox Series X. Our advice is to seek the retail price of $ 500 and steer clear of those expensive retailer bundles (which include superfluous controllers, accessories, and games).

Xbox Series X: Check Inventory Replenishment

Amazon sells the cheaper Xbox Series X and S Series from this same product page.

Best Buy was the last retailer to come back for pre-order in September, but now stands ready for your Xbox Series X purchase, as inventory allows.

GameStop had boasted “very limited number of Xbox Series X and S consoles bundles to buy” but these are currently sold out.

Walmart is doing a solid job noting windows of availability for PS5 and Xbox on its Twitter feed. You can also visit the retailer’s Xbox landing page for the two new consoles.

If you want to get the latest information on Xbox Series X, there’s probably nothing better than Microsoft’s Xbox Series X home page. Here you’ll find the latest specs, announced game titles, details on the new controller, and more.

This is Target’s product page for the Xbox Series X.

This is where you can buy the Xbox Series X from Newegg when the retailer has inventory.

Are you already desperate? Are you prepared to pay a premium of several hundred dollars over the list price? Look, we wouldn’t do that and neither do we recommend that you do it. But if you want to go that route, StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that will let you buy and sell new Xbox and PS5 models – provided you’re willing to pay more than $ 750.
