XFX Regional Director Shannon Piel has teased the upcoming custom water-cooled variants of the Radeon RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT series graphics cards. The representative said that not only is the design beautiful, but it is also a milestone for XFX.

XFX Partners with EK Water Blocks to Deliver Radeon RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT Water-Cooled Custom Graphics Cards

While this is only a teaser, it looks like XFX will be working with EK Water Block to deliver their latest custom graphics cards. The graphics card shown in the teaser is huge, which means we’re looking at a Big Navi 21 build, so expect the design to kick off with XFX’s Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT series.

The EK water block used by XFX is custom designed for the manufacturer, as shown by the “X” logo on the front fairing. The front fairing is all acrylic and shows the GPU / VRM / memory block below. The whole acrylic plate features RGB LEDs and there is a good chance that these LEDs are addressable. We can see the EK and XFX logos on the plastic panel above the fairing. The custom model is a dual slot card and appears to feature the standard 1 HDMI output and 3 DP output display configuration.

Regarding the launch and more information, XFX said they will follow through soon. We can certainly expect these custom XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT cards to be very good value compared to benchmark MSRPs. The PCB will also be a custom design with a nice factory OC and we can also expect the Navi 21 XTXH GPU to be used, making it the first XFX graphics cards to rock this chip. Again, we’ll keep you posted once we learn more about the latest custom water-cooled graphics cards from XFX’s RX 6000 series.
