XRP is now available to New York residents using Coinbase Trading, according to a tweet of the cryptocurrency exchange based in San Francisco. In February, Coinbase announced the registration of cryptocurrency. However, at the time of the announcement, the XRP was not available for trading in New York State.
The availability of XRP brings to six the total number of exchangeable assets for Coinbase users in New York: bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin, ether, ethereum classic and XRP. XRP is often associated with the California payment company Ripple.
