Yankees acquire Kendrys Morales – MLB rumors

The Yankees have announced they have acquired the first designated striker Kendrys Morales athletes in exchange for money or a player to name later. In order to open a spot in the 40-man lineup, New York transferred right Jonathan Loaisiga from the 10-day casualty list to the 60-day casualty list.

Morales, 35, was designated to be assigned by the athletes yesterday. Although Morales' 2019 production is non-existent, he is barely a year behind a respectable batting line of .249 / .331 / .438 and is a combined hitter of .270 / .330 / .465 which dates back to the 2009 season has established itself as a regular in the Major League.

Of course, this line-up is not up to what the Yankees had envisioned for the current season, but the team's breathtaking list of injuries is now well documented. Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Miguel Andujar, Greg Bird, Troy Tulowitzki and Didi Gregorius are all on the list of injured, while Aaron Hicks has just been activated since the IL and has not yet made his season debut To their credit, despite this long series of injuries, the Yankees have a team of 0.253 / .333 / .430 (104 wRC + ) and are in the middle of the pack in terms of the total number of points scored among the MLB clubs.
