Yankees announce first round of orders in September

The Yankees lost no time in calling their September orders, promotion of four players Sunday morning. Outfielder Clint Frazier tops the list and is accompanied by three relief pitchers in Chance Adams, Ryan Dull and Tyler Lyons. As a corresponding movement for Lyons, David Hale has moved to the 60-day casualty list.

Adams, 25, served as a swing arm for the Bombers throughout the season. He recorded 21.2 heats in the leagues this year, breaking a record of 7.48 (3.81). A clunker in London has somewhat distorted this figure, but it has not been very successful at Scranton either. The right-hander had 4.33 ERAs (5.06 FIP) on 81.2 runs for the RailRiders. Adams still uses four courts, but a fastball at eighty to ninety degrees and a curved ball at about 80km / h are his favorite offers.

On August 14, the Yankees declared that Dull had waived the Giants' waivers. The 29-year-old briefly joined the meter a few days later, but never participated in the match. Dull's fame stems from an outstanding 2016 campaign when he averaged 2.42 (3.58 FIP) in over 74.1 innings with the A's. The right-hander was not effective since, however, recording an ERA of 5.66 (4.83 FIP) dating from 2017. Dull has a high rotation speed on his field, so maybe the Yankees can unlock something.

Lyons, meanwhile, joined the Bombers on August 16 for a contract with minor leagues. Aged 31, he had been with the Pirates, where he launched four ineffective innings. South winger had a successful campaign at Triple-A, scoring an ERA of 3.22 (3.45 FIP) on 50.1 innings,

Some notable names have not received the call today. The best prospect Deivi Garcia stays in the Triple-A category, as do Kyle Higashioka, Breyvic Valera and Terrance Gore. Keep an eye on them once the MiLB playoffs are over.
