If we can all agree on one thing about the second season of The Mandalorian is that Din Djarin needs to feed the child more. Baby Yoda always seems to be hungry. And in the most recent episode, the little green bean stole a snack from another kid. Mando left his foundling at Nevarro’s school while he went on a mission, and the kid couldn’t control himself. When he saw another child eating, Star wars macarons version, he asked for his own cookie. The kid didn’t share (and I don’t blame him), so baby Yoda used his Force abilities to slide the cookies. Yeah, he has a thing or two to learn about impulse control.

However, in baby’s defense, the bright blue candies looked delicious. Anyone who has ever enjoyed a macaroon (not a macaroon, it’s a very different dessert) immediately identified the snack. I didn’t expect to spend most of a weekend thinking about space macarons, but here we are. And now, unsurprisingly, you can buy officially licensed Williams Sonoma Space Macaroons. The brand calls them Nevarro Nummies.
French dessert is always a treat with its crunchy exterior and slightly chewy center. Hope the kid enjoyed the shade when he ate them, but as he later threw up the treats after an enthralling walk in Razor Crest, that’s doubtful. You will definitely have to savor this Williams Sonoma pack. They sell a dozen macarons for $ 49.95. You read correctly. I hope, for this price, that the packaging is super adorable.

Otherwise, if you are going to spend that kind of dollars on macaroons, just buy them at Ladurée. The luxury French bakery is known for its confectionery. Or you can get ambitious and make your own macaroons. Keep them away from any Baby Yoda toys you may have in your home. Better to be safe than hungry.
