We are often advised to make sure that all the latest Windows updates are installed in the name of security, as well as to ensure access to all the latest features. But sometimes, things go wrong, as illustrated by the update KB4505903 for Windows 10.
This cumulative update was released some time ago, July 26 to be precise, but over the weeks, problems have appeared with Bluetooth. You may find that you can not connect your Bluetooth speaker or that the audio quality is poor. Microsoft has a workaround.

The update in question applies to Windows 10 version 1903 and, since its release, Microsoft warns that "on a computer with an internal speaker", there may be problems. In a support article, the company explains three main problems that can occur:
- A Bluetooth speaker can not connect to the computer.
- A Bluetooth speaker can connect to the computer. However, the speaker output seems noisy (poor quality).
- A Bluetooth speaker can connect to the computer. However, the sound is generated by the internal speaker instead of the Bluetooth device.
In addition, Microsoft states that "in Device Manager, you notice an entry under the Sound, Video, and Game Controllers node for Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp Source that displays a yellow icon in the form of an exclamation point."
For now, the solution is to use the system file checker tool:
1. Open the command console using the administrative authority.
2. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc / scannowNote It may take several minutes for the ordering operation to complete.
3. Once the process is complete, restart the computer.
