Kaley Cuoco’s beloved dog Norman is dead, the actress shared a heartbreaking Instagram tribute on Saturday, calling him “my whole world.”

“A deep, heartbreaking pain that tears the Earth apart, I never knew it was possible,” the 35-year-old star of The stewardess writes, posting black and white photos of the two snuggling up. “Norman, you were my whole world for 14 years. Thank you for smiling at me as I left this world, confirming once again that our language is ours. You will always have my heart.

Cuoco, who named his production company Yes, Norman Productions, shared many photos and videos of Norman in his Instagram Stories with captions such as “Why is he so perfect all the time” and “Mine.”

The accomplished actress and equestrian, adopted Norman 14 years ago when he was about two years old. At the time, the pit bull mix had a broken leg. However, it was instant love. “I knew right away,” she said to the Los Angeles Times in 2017. “I wanted this dog to be in my life.”

the The Big Bang Theory Alum and her husband, professional rider Karl Cook, share many pets, including dogs, horses and rabbits, but Norman clearly holds a special place in Cuoco’s heart. “My everything here,” she captioned a photo of herself and Norman in March.

Cuoco is also a dedicated animal adoption advocate, often using his Instagram account to share information about animals in need of a home. “I live by that saying. I don’t know who quoted it, but it’s like, “Who saved whom?” “Cucoco told the Times. “And I just think it’s the sweetest thing. Because it’s true. It changes your life.

In 2015, Cuuco declared Entertainment tonight that one day she had planned to get the dog tattooed as an expression of love. “He’s everything,” she said. “We’ve been through a lot together and, yes, he’s very close and dear to my heart.”
