YouTube Premium offers free Stadia Premiere Edition

[ad_1]

Over the past few years, Google has offered perks to its paid YouTube Premium members, like a free Nest Mini speaker. The latest promotion allows YouTube Premium subscribers in the UK to claim a Stadia Premiere Edition bundle for free.

Update: The offer has expanded to include the United States.

One of the main advantages of Stadia, Google’s game streaming service, is that you can play games on the hardware you already own. That said, the experience improves when you get some of Google’s own hardware such as the Stadia Controller and Chromecast Ultra that make up the “Stadia Premiere Edition” bundle.

Whether you’re a longtime Stadia gamer who hasn’t invested in hardware yet or someone who hasn’t given Stadia a chance yet, YouTube Premium is here to help you get your hands on a Stadia bundle. First edition. As spotted by Gem Stadia, if you are in the UK and have an active YouTube Premium subscription – before you apply, no you cannot sign up now and claim the pack – you are entitled to a free edition of Stadia Premiere.

Update 11/10: Overnight, Google extended the promotion to the United States, and residents of other countries may be eligible as well. As with the UK version, you will need to have an active YouTube Premium subscription valid before November 6.

If you’re outside of the US and UK and this YouTube Premium Stadia Premiere Edition promotion works for you, be sure to let us know in the comments. So far, we have confirmed that Canada is not eligible for the free plan.

To take advantage of the promotion, go to the official Stadia promotional page, where you can redeem the offer. Soon after, you will receive an email confirming the promotion, which will tell you to wait another email to use the free version of Stadia Premiere Edition.

Until recently, the Stadia Premiere Edition bundle consisted of Three things, the Chromecast Ultra, the Stadia Controller, and a three-month Stadia Pro subscription. Google recently removed the subscription from the plan to reduce the price to just $ 99.99.

Even if you aren’t particularly interested in Stadia – although I suggest giving it a try! – this promotion is absolutely worth claiming if you can. With the release of the new Chromecast with Google TV, the only way to get a Chromecast Ultra is through Stadia Premiere Edition, and despite its initial release in 2016, the Chromecast Ultra is still a solid device. Additionally, the Stadia Controller is a great game controller even if you don’t use it for Stadia.

This isn’t the first time that Google Stadia has tried to win over YouTube customers, with YouTube Premium subscribers in the UK previously getting a three-month free trial of Stadia Pro shortly before the public launch.
