The UK's YouTube star, Emily Hartridge, was killed after being hit by a truck while driving an electric scooter in southwestern London, the radio reported.
Hartridge, 36, died Friday morning at the Queen's Circus roundabout in Battersea – an unusual accident that could be the first of its kind in the UK, the Telegraph reported.
Hartridge's lifestyle, fitness and travel videos attracted nearly 350,000 subscribers. She also worked on a British television series entitled "Oh, I'm 30 years old."
The announcement of his death was posted on his Instagram page, which has 44,000 followers on Saturday morning.
"Hello everyone," he says. "It's a horrible thing to say on Instagram, but we know that many of you expected to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once. Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and died.
The message continued: "We all loved it very much and it will never be forgotten. She touched so many lives, it's hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person. "
No arrests have been made in the accident so far.
In an interview with The Sun, Hartridge spoke of one day he would have had children, despite the difficulties that there was to go out with "men without hope".
"I'm so happy that Tinder asked me to freeze the eggs. This revealed my low level of fertility in time for me to be able to do something. Whatever happens to my love life, I know I did everything I could to have a child one day, "she said.
E-scooters have become increasingly popular in many cities, including the Big Apple.
