Zack Snyder shares his photo of Gal Gadot’s first day as Wonder Woman
Over the past few days some lucky fans around the world have been watching Wonder Woman 1984 in theaters because the film has already debuted in parts of Europe, Indonesia and South Africa. While fans in the United States will have to wait until Christmas Day to watch the film themselves, many are delighted to see more of Diana and the actress who represents her, Gal Gadot. Recently, Batman vs. Superman Director Zack Snyder took to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes photo from the Israeli actress’ first day on her set. He praised the work done by Gadot over the years.
Gal’s first day on set in July 2014, shot on my iPhone 6. I knew when I screened her in fall 2013, she wasn’t just my Wonder Woman, but a Wonder Woman for the world. So proud of the way she played this character with love and grace. # WW84 @GalGadot @PattyJenks pic.twitter.com/oxOTz2WvwP

After making her debut as an Amazon warrior in the 2016 blockbuster, Gadot reprized her role in the standalone Wonder woman movie, 2017 Justice League, and the soon to be published Wonder Woman 1984. She will put on Diana Prince’s boots in the restored Justice League by Zack Snyder (2021) and a third Wonder woman solo movie. Obviously, Snyder’s choice met with the approval of the majority of DC Extended Universe fans.
