Deathstroke will have a bigger role to play in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, with a recent promotion featuring the character’s new look, the mohawk and everything in between.
A new promo for Justice League by Zack Snyder presents Deathstroke, played by Joe Manganiello, and the character’s new look.
Deathstroke’s look in the Snyder Cut of Justice League is radically different from what appeared in the end credits of the 2017 theatrical release. As part of Snyder’s original vision, the 30-second trailer offers a close-up of the new mohawk and worn armor by the mercenary. But don’t worry: this eye patch will never go out of style.
Manganiello debuted with this new look in November 2020, but this is the first time that the mercenary and his new hairstyle have been featured in the promotions of the Justice League, which were regularly released in the days leading up to the four-hour film’s debut on HBO Max. Manganiello has said in the past that there is a reason in the story for his character’s new look, although it has yet to be confirmed.
A haircut isn’t the only new character concept for Deathstroke, as it’s also been confirmed that the Snyder Cut will feature an unlikely partnership between him and Ben Affleck’s Batman.
