Zdeno Chara said that he felt good during the fifth game and that he should participate in the sixth game of the Cup final.

Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said defenseman Matt Grzelcyk, who has not played since a concussion in the second game of the Stanley Cup final, has not been allowed to play yet.

That's why Grzelcyk trained again Saturday in a red sweater in St. Louis. The day before, the Bruins will try to prevent their elimination in the sixth match of the Stanley Cup final. Grzelcyk's status remains unresolved for the sixth match.

Forward Chris Wagner, who has not played since Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final, Carolina, because of an arm injury, skated after training and will probably not be available for match 6 or 7 of the Cup final, Cassidy said.

Cassidy could still dress seven defenders if he is still worried about Captain Zdeno Chara's condition. If he dresses six defenders he will have to choose between Connor Clifton and Steven Kampfer. If he plays with 12 forwards, he will have to choose between David Backes and Karson Kuhlman.

But the defender is not worried about Chara. He spoke for the first time after being injured in the face in the fourth game of the Cup final, then injured in the fifth game lost in Boston.

"I felt good playing. Obviously, it was a quick turnaround after the last game here. But I felt good, "Chara told the media in St. Louis, although he was barely able to open his mouth and looked like a practicing ventriloquist.

Chara played just over 16 minutes in Game 5, and he did not feel limited in what he could do.

"I do not think there is any limit. I can still play, "he said.

Whether he eats or not can be a concern, but Chara has soothed these worries.

"I obviously try to eat as much as I can and keep my nutrition and fluids," Chara said.

So it looks like Chara will be Sunday again. Cassidy will probably say more about his lineup on Sunday morning before the Boston match.
