Zelda and Loftwing amiibo hit by “unforeseen delivery delays” in America

Today marks the arrival of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Nintendo Switch. At the same time, Nintendo released a special Zelda & Loftwing amiibo, which allows you to travel quickly between the earth and the sky.

If you haven’t got your hands on this amiibo yet and are in the United States, you might have a hard time acquiring it. Nintendo of America has provided a statement to IGN explaining how the Zelda & Lotfwing amiibo has been impacted by “unforeseen” delivery delays. This means that there will only be a “handful” of amiibo orders available upon release, and additional shipments will not appear until next month.

“The Zelda & Loftwing amiibo figure is currently affected by unforeseen delivery delays. As a result, only a small portion of the Zelda & Loftwing will be available on its scheduled launch date of July 16. Additional shipments are delayed until August. amiibo to retailers upon arrival. “
