Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 release window leaked by retailer

According to an Austrian e-commerce site, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 release window is closer than some might think.

Since the day of its launch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild somewhat influenced the gaming community and arguably the industry itself. As a result, one of the most anticipated games is the sequel to Breath of the wild it was announced a short while ago, but as of yet, no release date has been confirmed. However, a certain online video game outlet in Austria may have an idea of ​​when fans can expect the game to be released.

Since Breath of the Wild 2 was first announced at E3 2019, many in the gaming community were excited about its release. While not much official news has been revealed when it comes to this game, so fans should speculate more on when they can expect to see new footage. Thankfully, a recent post at an online point of sale shows that the game could be coming a lot sooner than many people expected.

A Twitter user by the name of Ezereal discovered the post windows for the two Breath of the Wild 2 and the remake of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne on the website of an Austrian video game retail store called Gameware. According to this site, Breath of the Wild 2 is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2021 and the remake of Nocturnal is expected to launch in spring 2021.

As always, with virtually any leak, this information should be taken with a grain of salt. Since no official word has been given by Nintendo on this, it probably isn’t the best idea for fans to get excited about this news. In fact, some would argue that this release window is a bit too early.

Back when the game was first announced, Breath of the wild was scheduled for release in 2015, but was delayed for two years, citing issues with the physics engine. In fact, the first Breath of the wild has actually been delayed more times than Cyberpunk 2077, a game that many people were angry with before its launch, due to the number of times it was delayed.

Although, admittedly, one could argue that Nintendo has already completed one Breath of the wild type of game and therefore have a lot more confidence in what the studio creates. If issues with the physics engine were the main issue with the first game, and if that game uses the same system as the first, similar issues are unlikely to occur. Additionally, Nintendo revealed that Breath of the Wild 2 will recycle the same card from the first game, so maybe the development of the sequel will be much faster.
