Zelda: Breath of the Wild becomes first-person game in Newly Discovered Glitch

Modders have already created a first-person camera for Breath of the Wild, but one player has managed to figure out an issue that should (in theory) allow anyone to watch Hyrule from an entirely different perspective.

As reported by Twitter user Kotaku A.xk managed to uncover a specific button input that would trigger the camera clip to a first person view. Check out the gif below on A.xK.’s YouTube channel.

Want to try it out for yourself? Here are the instructions from A.xk:

New item awaiting glitch

Camera

Maintaining the object

Item Hold Cancel

YouTuber Peco also managed to recreate the problem if you want to see longer clips in first person view.

It remains to be seen if Nintendo will fix this issue in a future patch, so be sure to check it out for yourself before too long.

If seeing Hyrule from a new perspective has made you want more of Zelda, the good news is that Nintendo says more Breath of the Wild 2 news will come later in 2021. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Nintendo has planned. to celebrate Zelda’s recent birthday.
