Zelda: Link's Awakening: pre-order bonus, Dreamer Edition, amiibo, and more

A much anticipated Nintendo Switch remake of the classic Game Boy THE legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening will be published on Friday, September 20th.

Unlike other remakes inspired by the nostalgia of recent years, Link's Awakening (2019) does not differ much from the game or story of the original game, although it sounds a lot better on the Nintendo Switch than on a 2-inch black and white screen. Numerous bonuses, Easter eggs and quality of life enhancements are also available: the Switch version revives the extra Game Boy Color dungeon, and adds fairy bottles, a shell sensor and a dungeon builder.

While Nintendo is notoriously stingy with any kind of bonus or pre-order discount, some retailers offer additional bonuses when buying THE legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Unfortunately, Amazon and Best Buy do not make their $ 10 promotional credit offer on pre-orders for Link's Awakeningbut GameStop and Target both offer collectibles. (Although it is technically available for all purchases of Link's Awakening – not just pre-orders – supplies are limited, so they may run out before launch day.)

GameStop distributes two-sided posters to anyone who buys the game in one of its stores. Those who order online can also bring their order confirmation to a local store for a free poster. However, GameStop recommends calling ahead to check that it is in stock.

Target offers a free set of Link and Marin enamel pins with Link's Awakening purchases. As with GameStop, customers will have to go to a Target store (specifically, the electronics counter inside it) to claim their free pins.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Dreamer Edition, which includes an exclusive art book and costs $ 10 more, was sold quickly after its announcement in June. However, if you are determined to get your hands on this beauty, all is not lost. Sporadically, retailers have stockpiled Dreamer Editions, and we hope this will continue after the game has been released.
