‘Zero Chance’ returns NCAA

After years of speculation, Urban Meyer finally made the jump to the pros. Unlike other well-known college coaches before him, the Jaguars HC says there is “no chance” of him returning to the NCAA ranks.

No chance of that happeningMeyer said (via Peter King of NBC Sports). “What coach [Nick] Saban crossed, I do not know. This is Coach Saban’s business. I am not sure. At some point I might talk to him about it… he’s a friend of mine and I have a lot of respect for him. It’s different. It’s completely different. My mind is determined. There are going to be losses. It’s going to be miserable. I hate to lose. We all do. But the reality is, you are going to lose. Hope you win more than you lose. But it’s something that’s going to be new to me. I must be right and I’m working on it. “

Two years after leaving LSU for Dolphins work, Saban requested his release so he could attend the University of Alabama. Meyer, on the other hand, says he’s here for the long haul. With a lucrative contract in hand and the Clemson star Trevor Lawrence (probably) on the way, the former Ohio-Florida state coach has little reason to look in the rearview mirror.
