Zero Labs Automotive has launched its Ford Classic Electric, a refurbished and restored truck based on the 1966-1977 model Ford Bronco. The all-electric vehicle features carbon fiber body panels and more than 1,000 original parts.
The classic Ford Bronco electric vehicle comes with a 70 kWh battery for an estimated range of 300 km, with a level 2 charging. Its engine develops 369 horsepower with 240 Nm of torque. It is interesting to note that the Bronco uses a five-speed manual transmission.
The interior of the Bronco includes hand-made walnut or bamboo panels, as well as premium leather or vegan interior linings. Zero Labs reveals more technical specifications for the vehicle on its website, noting the final specifications and a "complete list of available options will be available before manufacturing."
The release of Zero Labs indicates that the Bronco is his "first" production vehicle. There could be others. The company registers registrations for a first set of 150 Broncos – the standard booking form requires no payment, no obligation.
