Weili became Saturday the first UFC champion of China after the technical knockout of Brazilian Jessica Andrade in less than a minute.
"I'm so happy for this moment! I'm calling Zhang Weili and I'm from China! Remember me!" Weili told CNN.
She won her victory at a UFC Night Fight Night at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center in Shenzhen, China.
A few seconds after the start of the fight, Weili hit Andrade's chin, quickly immobilizing the Brazilian. Weili immediately unleashed a series of elbows, knees and punches before the referee intervened and ended the fight, crowning his champion.
