Brand new Maruti Suzuki Vitara revealed, India launches soon

  The facelifted Vitara is expected to be launched in Europe by the end of this year, with the Indian variant making its way to Indian coasts early next year.

Indo-Japanese vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki tested his latest big SUV Vitara to come to India. There were also a number of photos of Vitara tests on the roads in India and now Suzuki has unveiled the globally updated Vitara.

The facelifted Vitara is expected to be launched in Europe by the end of this year, along with the Indians. variant that is making its way to the Indian coasts early next year. The new Vitara sports a revised front with redesigned grille and new, smoother headlights. Even the taillights have been updated.

The Maruti Vitara 2018 now receives a distinctive metallic paint and measures 4.2 meters in length. The new Vitara features a chrome grille, new fog lights, LED daytime running lights, a blackened B pillar and a tinted rear windshield. The wheel arches now have a black plastic trim and the Vitara is based on new alloy wheels.

Vitara is already on sale in international markets. The Suzuki Vitara sits at the top of the S-Cross in the Suzuki vehicle portfolio. The Vitara is powered by a choice of gasoline or diesel engines. The Vitara is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that develops 118 hp and 156 Nm of torque. The diesel variant is powered by a 1.6-liter engine that produces 118 hp and 320 Nm of peak power. The powertrain is paired with a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission, or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Suzuki Vitara also gets the AWD as an option.

The new Vitara now gets an option of a new turbocharged gasoline and diesel engine option, which are 1.0 liter and 1.4 liter respectively. The petrol produces 111 hp while the diesel produces 140 hp. The high-end variants also benefit from Suzuki's AWD AllGrip system. Gearboxes include manual as well as automatic transmission as well.

We know that many people will take it for the new Brezza, but the Vitara is a 4.2-meter SUV while the Brezza falls under the category of compact SUV which means 4 meters. The Vitara is expected to appear next year and we look forward to seeing how the new SUV will be sold in the Indian market.
