A male rhinoceros was killed by poachers in Lake Nakuru National Park, bringing to 11 the number of rhinos killed in Kenya's national parks in recent days.

The Kenya Wildlife Service shared information on social media reporting the murder of a 12-year-old black rhino Monday night.

The news of rhinoceros killing has further added to public outrage over the alarming deaths of animals in the country's national parks.

"Sad to report the murder of a 12-year-old black male rhinoceros in Lake Nakuru National Park last night. The pursuit of poachers is ongoing," tweeted KWS
