Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik called he quits.
the New girl Alum and his producer Beau separated after four years of marriage.
"After long discussions and a long period of reflection, we decided that we were better as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than in life partners," say Zooey and Jacob at E ! News in a joint statement. "We remain committed to our business, our values and, more importantly, our children, so please respect our privacy at this time."
The private pair secretly tied the knot in 2015, shortly before welcoming his daughter Elsie Otter Pechenik. E! News confirmed at the time that the wedding took place in Austin on June 21st.
In 2017, Zooey and Jacob welcomed their second child together, a son named Charlie Wolf Pechenik.
The Hollywood duo is engaged in 2015 after Jacob's proposal for his birthday on Jan. 17. They celebrated the special day on the island of Catalina.
