Apart from being launched by a single carrier, we have not heard any tons of ZTE since the US imposed an export ban on the company. Now, however, ZTE is bringing some new smartphones to the MWC 2019, including its first 5G smartphone. Here is what you need to know.

The best gifts for Android users

ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G

On the front line for ZTE at MWC this year is the company's new flagship smartphone offering. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G (shown above) is not only one of the first devices we see with the Snapdragon 855, it is also the first ZTE compatible smartphone. The device uses Qualcomm's standard 5G configuration, including the Snapdragon 855 processor and an SDX50 modem.

Beyond that, ZTE has been silent on the specifications of the Axon 10 Pro 5G. It was confirmed that there was a three camera board on the back of the aircraft and a teardrop notch in the front. The shared ZTE rendering also shows that a built-in fingerprint sensor will be used. The company has not officially made any mention regarding RAM, storage or display specifications, but a report boasts a 6.47-inch FHD + AMOLED display, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 48 MP camera at the back.

ZTE indicates that the Axon 10 Pro 5G will be available in Europe and China in the first half of 2019.

ZTE Blade V10

ZTE has also provided a new update of its range of blades to the MWC 2019. The new ZTE Blade V10 supports the budget range with updated specifications, a new design and new eye-catching colors.

The Blade V10 offers an octa-core processor under the hood associated with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, as well as a battery of 3200 mAh. There is also USB-C, a fingerprint sensor on the back and even a headphone jack.

The ZTE Blade V10 is available in the black and green color variants, but the most interesting for me is the blue gradient. All three also have an orange accent button.

At the front, there is also a 6.3-inch screen that comes in FHD +. This screen also features a drop-shaped notch at the top that contains the remarkable selfie 32MP camera. According to ZTE, this fixed focus camera is equipped with special AI functions, which extend to the rear configuration of the 16MP / 5MP camera. Android Pie also comes from the box.

ZTE did not mention the price of the Blade V10, but the device is expected to debut next month in Europe, China and Latin America.
