EUGENE – The Oregon defensive line has been thoroughly tested against Montana.

Bryson Young and Austin Faoliu of Stud-starting Stud were both up against Oregon's 35-3 win over Montana on Saturday night at Autzen Stadium.

"Later in the week, they felt that they were not healthy enough to contribute to a high level," said Oregon coach Mario Cristobal.

Faoliu has six tackles including one for defeat and Young has four this season.

Oregon announced senior Drayton Carlberg as the starting defensive tackle and freshman Mase Funa, who leads the Pac-12 with four tackles for the loss including two sacks, made his first career start in Young's stadium.

Carlberg and Funa both had three tackles with a sack against Montana.
