LAS VEGAS – Other hotels in Las Vegas will be closed mid-week due to low demand.

MGM Resorts International announced Friday that Mandalay Bay and The Mirage will close hotel tower operations Monday through Thursday starting November 30.

“While we do not currently anticipate midweek hotel closures after December, we will continue to assess activity levels to determine their duration,” said Brian Ahern, international director of media relations at MGM Resorts.

Earlier this month, Park MGM announced it would close midweek. Other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, including Planet Hollywood and Encore, have dark midweek days.

For all the hotels listed, the closures have only had an impact on their hotel towers to date, with casinos and restaurants remaining open.
