Health officials announced Saturday in Orange County two new cases of confirmed measles involving an infant and a student.
The graduate student from the University of California at Irvine went to several places on campus while he was still contagious, announced Saturday the university in a letter to the community.
The student, who has been vaccinated and lives in Long Beach, will remain in quarantine at home for several days, according to university officials.
The second case is a one year old baby who is too young to have been vaccinated, the Orange County Health Care Agency announced.
The child is currently hospitalized in an emergency room at the Orange County Children's Hospital and is infectious, according to authorities.

Anyone who visited these areas during this time should review their vaccination history and report any symptoms of measles, including fever, cough, runny nose, and red eyes.
"Although the patient was isolated as quickly as possible and that it poses no risk of spreading the disease, the hospital collaborates closely with the County Public Health Agency. Orange to inform people of its potential exposures, "said CHOC in a written statement to KTLA
Three cases of measles have been reported in Orange County. The first was a 20-year-old woman from Placentia who had been diagnosed with viral infection after a recent trip abroad, the O.C. Health care agency said Wednesday.
"We are currently informing students, faculty and staff who have been exposed, providing information on treatment and prevention," UCI Chancellor Howard Gillman writes in the letter.
Health officials say measles is a very contagious disease that spreads very easily.
"We expect to see more cases here in Orange County and encourage community members to protect themselves and their families by getting vaccinated," said O.C, health official Nichole Quick said.
