2 Spirit Airlines officers injured after passengers attacked them because of the size of their hand luggage

DETROIT, Mich. (WABC) – Two people were injured when a fight broke out at an airport in Detroit.

Police said tensions escalated as a Spirit Airlines flight boarded on Sunday evening.

The airline says three passengers attacked its agents after a dispute over baggage.

Two Spirit Airlines agents were injured.

Two people were arrested and one other person was named.
