Belichick’s girlfriend hits back at IG’s Tom Brady comment originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
There will forever be a debate between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick when it comes to which of the New England Patriots was most responsible for the organization’s 20-year dynasty.
This season in the NFL, Brady has made it difficult to argue against him. The 43-year-old quarterback will play in his 14th Conference Championship game on Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Green Bay Packers. Belichick will watch from home after a disappointing campaign in which the Patriots finished 7-9 with Cam Newton under center.

While we likely won’t hear much from Belichick on the matter, now we know his girlfriend Linda Holliday’s take on the situation. One Instagram user commented on Holliday’s photo: “Too bad Bill lets Tom go!” and she wasn’t too kind with that remark.
“And you have all the answers of course?” Tom didn’t score last night… not once! The defense won this game. Did you even watch? OTOH- I’m happy with Tom’s career! Why can’t you be? she wrote.

The Buccaneers’ defense was huge in their divisional round win over the New Orleans Saints, but Brady actually scored three times in the win. Nonetheless, Holliday made his thoughts on Belichick’s legacy clear.
Brady will be looking to make it to the Super Bowl for the 10th time in his career when he faces the Packers on Sunday. Kick-off for Tampa vs Green Bay is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET.
