UPDATE: The Los Angeles County Public Health Department reported 20 new deaths and 423 new confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 on Sunday. The lower number of deaths in the latest data may reflect reporting delays over the weekend.

The newly reported figures bring the total number of reported Covid-19 cases in LA County to 1,214,178 and
22,797 deaths to date. 792 people currently hospitalized with Covid-19, 27% of whom are in an ICU. Out of nearly 6,010,000 people tested; 19% of people tested positive.

Today’s public health report brings LA County to a total of 1,213,784 identified cases of Covid-19 and 22,777 deaths.

Gyms, fitness centers, yoga and dance studios have been allowed to reopen at 10% capacity, with a blanking requirement for all indoor activities, while retail and personal care was allowed to increase the capacity to 50%, provided the same safety conditions were met. are respected. Indoor shopping centers were able to grow to 50% of their capacity, although common areas remain closed.
