2019 Championship standings: live coverage, FedEx Cup results, third round highlights

Brooks Koepka is the big favorite to win the Tour Championship this weekend and win the $ 15 million East Lake Golf Club. Koepka had only one lead on Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy after the closing of the action on Friday, but he is still considered a safe bet that he will get his fourth PGA Tour victory of the 2018-19 season once the weekend ends on Sunday.

Koepka has compiled 67 consecutive games and started the 7-under test because he was ranked third in the FedEx Cup standings. Add it all up, and it's 13 under turn 3, followed by McIlroy and Thomas at 12 under. There are only two other golfers better than 6 under after 36 holes.

Saturday should be filled with high quality golf with three of the best in the world – and three of the best of the season – competing for supremacy at the richest event in its history. This may not be a major problem, and the format could be (ok, certainly) a little insignificant, but we still get a nice end to the last test of what has been an awesome golf season.

CBS Sports will be with you all the way to update this story with the latest scores, scans and highlights from the third round of the 2019 Tour Championship. If you can not see the live updates below , click here please.

Thank you for being past.
