The Golden State Warriors enter the NBA offseason with a few needs to fill. Fortunately, the biggest thing they’ll get this offseason will be a healthy Stephen Curry and a healthy Klay Thompson. These two players alone will make the Warriors a serious contender next season.
In addition to those two guys, the Warriors have the second pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. They’ve had a lot of talk about whether to trade the pick, or might draft a prospect like big man James Wiseman.
While the Warriors might be looking to bring in one or two big free agents, they’re much more likely to focus on introducing role players. There are quite a few role players who would fit in well with Golden State and will be hitting the market this offseason.
Golden State must like its chances for next season. Curry, Thompson, and Draymond Green are still in town. These three had great success together long before Kevin Durant entered the scene.
With all that said, let’s take a look at three scheming free agents the Warriors might be considering this offseason.
