3 keys to winning for the Rams against the Colts

The Los Angeles Rams travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week Two, with the goal of a 2-0 season transition. Kick-off is scheduled for FOX at 10 a.m. PT.

Before the game, theRams.com looks for three keys to earn the Rams offered by Wallace Office.

1) Contain the running play (and prevent the ball carrier from affecting the passing play)

Another 1,000-yard runner from last season awaits the Rams’ defense this weekend. Colts attack coordinator Marcus Brady told reporters in Indianapolis this week that he is happy with Wentz’s decision and believes Wentz has done well for the Seahawks as a whole. However, Wentz lost a fumble in a stealth quarterback in the second half of the 4th and one from the Seahawks’ 31-yard line in the second half of the third quarter, ending the Colts 21-10.

Wentz was playing an almost clean game, but this moment shows the importance of creating a takeaway on Sunday – if Colts was transformed, at least with a 1 field goal it could have been an inmate game. The Seahawks punted in the aftermath of the turnover, but the Colts still couldn’t score.
