3 people shot dead in front of Wendy’s at Hallandale Beach

Hallandale Beach, Florida – Hallandale Beach Police are investigating after three people were shot dead outside a Wendy’s fast food restaurant Tuesday morning.

Authorities arrived at the scene at 1091 West Hallandale Beach Blvd, just east of Interstate 95, to find three dead victims, all apparently with gunshot wounds.

“We responded in the area around 12:48 pm this morning regarding an altercation with a shooting, during which officers responded and they were able to find three people who were unresponsive – now declared dead,” said Hallandale Beach Police Captain Megan Jones. .

A Local 10 News team was in the area later in the morning as a body covered in a white tarp could be seen in Wendy’s parking lot.

A crime scene tape has been placed around the drive-thru lane of the fast food restaurant.

Police did not provide any details about a potential suspect or what led to the shooting.

The investigation causes traffic jams in the area.
