IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI / KIDK) – Idaho officials on Tuesday reported 384 new cases of COVID-19 and 9 new deaths.
This brings the total number of confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 28,326.
There are a total of 26,431 confirmed cases and 1,895 probable cases in 44 of Idaho’s 44 counties, according to figures released by local health districts and the state. See the table below.

Public Health in eastern Idaho reported 57 new cases on Tuesday. There are 29 new cases in Bonneville, 4 in Custer, 16 in Jefferson, 2 in Lemhi, 5 in Madison, and 1 in Teton. There are 306 active cases. You can see more HERE.
The EIPH COVID-19 risk level monitor has four categories: minimal, moderate, high, and critical. Bonneville, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, and Teton counties fall into the moderate risk category.
Custer County and Madison County fall into the minimum risk category.
The Eastern Idaho Public Health Board of Health has changed the restriction order for Bonneville County.

EIPH covers Bonneville, Clark. Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison and Teton counties.
The hot spots so far this week are Ada County, Canyon County, Bonneville County, Bannock County and Jefferson County.
The state reports that there are 11,397 estimated recovered COVID-19 cases.
The average age of Idahoans with COVID-19 is 39.1 years old and ranges from 1 to 100 years. Data exclude 42 people of unknown age.
The age group with the most cases is 18 to 29 with 8,280 cases.
The state said 41 new hospitalizations were reported, bringing the total to 1,170, and 12 new cases were admitted to the ICU, bringing the total to 328.
There are 1,966 reported asymptomatic cases and 1,698 health worker cases.
9 new deaths were reported, bringing the total number of registered deaths to 282.
State officials say the deaths by age group break down as follows:
- 1 person died between 30 and 39 years old
- 8 people died between 40 and 49 years old
- 10 people who died were between 50 and 59 years old
- 36 people were between 60 and 69 years old
- 66 people were between 70 and 79 years old
- 161 people were 80 and over
95.6% of known race deaths were white. 0.7% of known race deaths were Asian. 1.1% of the deaths of known race were Black or African American, 0.7% of Amerindians / Alaska Native and 1.8% were from “Other races / multiple races.” The race category for 10 dead is pending.
87.9% of known race deaths were non-Hispanic. 12.1% of deaths of known ethnicity were Hispanic. The ethnicity of 9 deaths is pending.
