The Patriots added to the depth of the team's offensive line Wednesday with two swaps. One was Korey Cunningham for the Cardinals, the other was for Jermaine Eluemunor, Ravens' keeper.
It remains to know where is the one or the other player in the alignment of New England. In the case of Eluemunor, this is another chapter of what was an unlikely journey on several continents.
Eluemunor played Texas A & M after a transfer from a junior college and was selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2017 draft.
Here are some other things to know about the Eluemunor story:
He grew up in England.
Eluemunor was born in London, England. He was the son of an English mother and a father who had immigrated from Nigeria at the age of 14. He grew up in a London neighborhood called Camden.
"I see my accent as more of London / Jersey / Texas," Eluemunor would have said in an interview with a British publication L & # 39; Independent in 2017, "but when I hear you speak, it reminds me a little! It makes me understand how much I sound in America.
From an early age, Eluemunor was the size needed to play football, but he was first involved in rugby. He has also been introduced to other sports, but is not interested in it.
"They would like us to play cricket," said Eluemunor Grill magazine. "I do not like this sport."
It took a happy timing and interest in another sport to confront Eluemunor with football.
His introduction to football is due to … football.
As a native of London, Eluemunor is a fan of the local Arsenal football club. He always follows the team passionately, buy the latest team kits and retweeting their team account on his Twitter.
In 2007, he was on television watching Arsenal when he came across something he had never seen before: an NFL game. Eluemunor had discovered that the Giants were playing against the Dolphins in the NFL International Series, as was the case at Wembley Stadium in London.
"Everyone blew themselves up," said Eluemunor at Sports Illustrated in 2017. "I say to myself," Oh, what is it? "

From there, he became slowly fascinated by the game.
"You have so many different pieces in the puzzle and that's what I found interesting," Eluemunor said. Grill. "The more I researched, the more I fell in love."
This pushed Eluemunor on a path that would bring him to New Jersey for high school, and a college career that culminated with a first job at Texas A & M.
Once upon a time, the presumed starter of the Ravens left guard.
After the Ravens had exchanged their guard Alex for the Jets, it seemed obvious that the way was clear for Eluemunor to start in the Baltimore line.
He played with the starting group through minicamp and was the left guard of the team in the first two pre-season games. Still, he did not keep his promise after Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he needed to get in shape.
"I'm going back to Texas, working and putting myself in the best shape possible," Eluemunor told reporters at the end of the minicamp. He failed to do that, though. When he showed up at the training camp, Eluemunor quickly failed his conditioning test.
The injuries also limited his participation, including the team's third pre-season game.
He hated the Game of Thrones final as much as everyone else.
Eluemunor is a fan of Game of Thrones, and enjoyed the show for his first seven seasons. But like many others, he found that the final episode was not what he wanted:
This is the worst end of the series I have ever watched … The final season of Game of Thrones was Trash

He echoed a common criticism that the last season was hasty:
Game Of Thrones Season 8 was Trash. Seasons 1 to 7 were incredible and had me at the edge of my seat. Season 8 was disappointing and was disappointing. I have the impression that there are so many things that should happen without
