A 220-million-year-old dinosaur footprint was discovered by a 4-year-old on a beach in Wales.

Lily Wilder found the well-preserved footprint earlier this month in Bendricks Bay, and scientists say it could help them understand how dinosaurs walked. National Museum Wales curator of paleontology Cindy Howells told the BBC that the print, which is almost four inches long, is “the best specimen ever found on this beach.”

Wilder found the print while walking on the beach with his father, Richard Wilder, according to the report.

“Lily saw him when they were walking and said, ‘Look at daddy,’” her mother Sally Wilder said. “When Richard came home and showed me the photo, I thought it looked amazing.

Scientists said they couldn’t tell what type of dinosaur left the imprint left in the mud.
