It’s been over six months at this point, but we’re all finally a day away from what the future holds for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition.
To celebrate the winter update and the end of the competitive season, Capcom has released a new free trial version of Champion Edition which includes all 40 playable characters. What can be more interesting than playing Gill or Seth right now for the most part is the timing of the trial and especially its end.
At the moment, the current demo is only available to PlayStation 4 (or PlayStation 5) users, so unfortunately PC gamers can sit on this one according to 4Gamer.
While we only know the Japanese end time now, it looks like it will become available after 11 p.m. PT on February 24, which could indicate when we can also see the latest launch. season.

It would make sense for Capcom not to want to spend additional resources updating a free version of SF5 that would be phased out in a few days, so the Season 5 release might not arrive until February 25 if it is. the case.
On the other hand, the publisher could also be very open and let these free players take a few days of the update to try and get them to buy the full version afterwards.

The Capcom Pro Tour 2020 season finale is set to take place February 20-21 with two days of online matches lined up, and given that the Capcom Cup was supposed to be happening at the same time, there’s also a good chance that we may still see her. this Sunday.
