The San Francisco 49ers have signed the former receiver of the Philadelphia Jordan Eagles, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic.
Matthews is 26 years old.
The Eagles made Matthews a second-round pick in Vanderbilt in 2014. He recorded 20 receptions for 300 yards with two touchdowns in 14 games and three starts in 2018.
Matthews captured 270 passes for 3,255 yards with 22 touchdowns in his five seasons in the NFL. He also spent 2017 with the Buffalo Bills between his two trips with the Eagles.
